In this helpful guide, we’re going to show you how to create a Charitable Crowdfunding Campaign using the GoCryptoMe platform in just 5 minutes.

Before we begin, please ensure you have:

A compatible Web3 crypto wallet, like MetaMask or TrustWallet, that is configured to interact with the Binance Smart Chain
A small amount of the BNB cryptocurrency, to pay network gas fees

Step 1: Navigate to the GoCryptoMe Charity Page

In your chosen web browser, head to https://charity.gocryptome.io/ and connect your crypto Wallet. Currently, GoCryptoMe supports MetaMask and applications with WalletConnect compatibility.

Follow the prompts and connect your wallet to the site.

Step 2: Create A Charitable Campaign

Once your wallet has been connected to the site, find and click the ‘Start a Campaign’ button in the header menu.

Next, you’ll be prompted to fill out a form and provide information regarding your campaign. In this example, we’ll be raising funds to pay for the expensive surgery of a family pet.

Agree to the GoCryptoMe Terms, and click ‘Next’.

Step 3: Input your Fundraising Goal

In this step, you’ll be asked to specify how much funding your campaign needs to raise. In this example, we will be aiming to raise $10,000 BUSD.

After inputting your desired fundraising goal, click ‘Next’.

Step 4: Upload Campaign Images

Next, you’ll be asked to provide a cover photo or video for your campaign, alongside a high quality Avatar picture that will be associated with your GoCryptoMe profile.

After you’ve selected your images, please ensure you click ‘Upload File’ to add the images to your campaign. Once this has been completed, you should be able to see that your images have been successfully loaded. Then, click ‘Next’.

Step 5: Name and Describe your Campaign

Finally you’ll need to provide a title for your Campaign, as well as give context and explain your reason for raising funds. This could include what contributors’ funds will be used for.

After you’ve provided a few details about your campaign and why you’re raising funds, click ‘Create’. You’ll then be prompted to confirm the transaction in your crypto wallet, hit ‘Confirm’ or ‘Approve’.

Congratulations, you’ve just launched a Crowdfunding Campaign on GoCryptoMe. After the transaction has been successfully completed, your campaign will be live on the site and open to contributions.

You’ll also be provided with a link that can be easily shared across an enormous variety of social networks to help bring attention to your campaign.
